Shenanigan's works US-98 north of Okeechobee as an American bar and pub with the TVs on and the fryer going. Burgers and jumbo wings are the headline; blackened tenders and fried gator bites are what regulars steer newcomers toward, which is about as Florida as an order gets. There is a full bar of beer and cocktails, a kids' menu, and a room lively enough that a table for the game is the usual reason to book. Closed Mondays, open through the evening the rest of the week. Casual, loud and comfortable in its own skin.
