Siam Garden has been cooking on West Webster Avenue in Winter Park for well over a decade, and it commits to a method most kitchens skip: the authentic-paste approach, where curries are built from fresh-ground herbs and spices rather than a jar. That is the difference people taste and cannot quite name. The room is quiet and plainly casual, the food comes out fast, and the portions are generous for the price.
