SLICE OF NEW YORK – Restaurant

A Poinciana corner shop that has been throwing New York slices and Puerto Rican plates over the same counter since 2003, and the combination is the whole point. The pies come out thin and foldable, the pasta is made in house, and the Latin side of the menu runs to soups, rice plates and crispy fries that regulars order alongside a slice without a second thought. Shrimp fettuccine and a salmon dinner anchor the sit-down end of things. The room is bright and unfussy, portions are generous, and the staff know the neighborhood by name. Locals will argue it is the best pizza in Poinciana, and they have been arguing it for two decades.
