SUKI HANA – Restaurant

Suki Hana works the Dolphin Mall food court on NW 12th Street with a Japanese fast-food format that has been running in one form or another since 1988, when it opened downtown as Teriyaki Temple. Sushi, tempura and teriyaki are assembled in front of you in a bright, open kitchen - the whole appeal is watching it get made rather than pulled from under a lamp. Weekday hours run from mid-morning to just past nine. It is mall food that has outlasted most of the malls around it, which says something.
