TIKI BAR LIGHTHOUSE – Restaurant

Steps off the sand at the Lighthouse Island Resort on Fort Myers Beach, this open-air bar and grill has rebuilt around a new cabana bar and pool deck. Order the fried fish sandwich or the boom boom shrimp, add mozzarella sticks or a chef salad, and get one of the margarita or punch buckets circulating all afternoon. Live music runs most days and the crowd stays local enough to feel unstaged. Visitors consistently point to the setting and the drink prices as the reason to come. Service can wobble in season. The Gulf never does.
