Tsaocaa builds its business on two things done well: bubble tea and Asian fried chicken. The drink board is enormous, running from brown sugar milk black tea and taro milk green tea to lychee green tea with crystal pearl and fruit slushes, with sugar levels made to order. On the food side, Korean fried chicken, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, takoyaki, crispy spring rolls, edamame and Hong Kong egg waffles. Customers consistently praise the drink consistency and the crunch on the chicken. Cheap, fast, and genuinely good.
