Two chefs, one room, two businesses. Mellissa Louty and Frank Imbarlina run a gourmet market and a full-service bistro out of the same South Tamiami Trail space, and cook everything themselves, from scratch, on the premises. Breakfast starts early, with Bananas Foster cheesecake French toast as the showpiece, and runs into lunch, with brunch stretching through weekend afternoons. The market side carries handmade charcuterie and scratch-baked goods, and there are gluten-free menus, charcuterie boards, catering and culinary classes alongside. A small operation with no shortcuts in it, and chefs visibly doing the work. Exactly what the name says.
