UCHIKO MIAMI – Restaurant

The Sunset Harbour sibling of Uchi, open for dinner only and lit for the occasion. The kitchen runs Japanese technique through a wood fire: hot rock beef you sear yourself at the table, wagyu dumplings, yellowtail brightened with orange, spicy crunchy tuna, wood-fired edamame, blistered brussels sprouts, roasted lobster, and Milk and Cereal to finish. Happy hour runs from five to six-thirty and is worth arriving for. Guests talk about staff who explain every plate without lecturing, and a room that suits a date. Serious sushi, delivered with a light touch.
