UPTOWN PIZZA – Restaurant

A takeout-only pizza counter on Seacrest Boulevard near Plumosa School of the Arts, unremarkable from the street and busy for a reason. New York-style pies come out with a crust that holds and sauce with flavour, and they will run it thin, well done and crispy if you ask. Wings are the other half of the business — lemon pepper mild and honey BBQ especially — with garlic rolls, eggplant parm and above-average heroes at fair prices. Families here order weekly. Worth knowing: there is no dining room, and busy nights can produce a missing item.
