VERA’S THAI GARDEN – Restaurant

Weekends only, inside a twenty-acre nature preserve out in the Redland: Vera's Thai Garden sets up in the Cacao Bar at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary and cooks Thai family recipes using Redland farm produce. Seatings run hourly through the middle of the day, reservations are required, and a sanctuary day pass comes with the deal. The rotating menu leans on Thai tapas and a few mains — red curry over black jasmine rice, pad thai vegan, chicken or shrimp, tom kha and tom yum, chicken satay, fresh garden rolls. Butterfly pea tea and young coconut water to drink. Lunch as a small excursion.
