VIENA – Restaurant

Seven floors up at the Miami International Airport Hotel, Viena looks straight out over the runways — a rooftop restaurant and lounge open to travellers and locals alike. The kitchen is more ambitious than the setting suggests: pão de queijo baked to order, beef and chicken empanadas with garlic-cilantro crema, wood-fired flatbreads, a pressed Cuban, churrasco with chimichurri and black beans, ribeye and New York strip, mahi fish tacos, key lime pie. Cocktails, wine and craft beer round it out. Diners keep coming back to the same two things: the view, and service that actually pays attention. Departures have rarely looked better.
