Hibachi with the full performance, plus a sushi bar that keeps pace — Yamato covers both from a spot on Osceola Parkway serving Kissimmee and Buenaventura Lakes. Grill dinners arrive with fried rice, mixed vegetables, salad and onion soup; the raw side runs from tuna and salmon tataki to yellowtail jalapeño, spicy tuna tartare and a long list of special rolls. There is also, less predictably, a Louisiana seafood platter section. Gyoza, edamame and fried soft shell crab fill the gaps. Family-owned, quick out of the kitchen, and priced for a weeknight rather than an occasion.
