Argentine fire in Coconut Grove, on Grand Avenue, arranged around live-flame asado and a parrilla that never really cools down. 1986 Steak House runs Argentine beef, American Prime and Japanese A5 wagyu alongside dry-aged cuts, and opens with charcoal-grill starters, empanadas, hamachi crudo, octopus carpaccio and a raw bar carrying jumbo shrimp and king crab. Provoleta arrives blistered, under tomato and peppers. The wine list tilts hard toward Argentina; the cocktails include one poured into a ceramic Maradona head. Dulce de leche crepes and flan close things out. Doors open at midday, seven days. Long dinners, shared plates, no hurry.
