Steps from Fort Lauderdale Beach at 608 Breakers Avenue, Archibalds opens at seven and the pastry case is the first thing you see. Chef Justin Mathys-Archibald and his husband Christopher started it in May 2021, and the selection still rotates: cinnamon buns, sausage rolls, filled pastries, seasonal specialities and a proper coffee programme. Breakfast begins at eight, built around croissant sandwiches with thick-cut bacon, avocado and melted cheese. There are special orders too, a loyalty programme, events and an online store. Hours run to three most days, seven on Friday and Saturday. A beach bakery that takes the baking seriously.
