Estero Island's south end got its Hawaiian caffeine fix in July 2025, when Bad Ass Coffee opened in Santini Plaza. The chain sources Hawaiian beans, 100% Kona included, and the espresso bar builds them into house signatures: the Bad Ass Mocha, Caramel Wave, coconut mocha, vanilla haze and blended Koffee Koolers, with the Mana energy line for anyone skipping coffee. Food leans island-sweet—breakfast sandwiches on King's Hawaiian bread, among them the Aloha, ham with egg, Swiss, pineapple and barbecue glaze, plus breakfast burritos and fresh bakery.
