LEGNO – Restaurant

Legno Italian Kitchen sits in Santini Marina Plaza at the quiet end of Estero Boulevard, doing coastal-inflected Italian for a beach town that needed it. Pasta is made in house — garganelli carbonara, pappardelle, spaghetti and meatballs — and the pizza list runs about ten deep, margherita through hot honey and Calabrian. Chicken parmigiana for the traditionalists, a lobster-tail surf and turf for the celebration table. The bar takes itself seriously too: deep wine list, and a smoked old fashioned that people order on sight. New, and finding its stride fast.
