BAYSIDE GRILLE – Restaurant
An elevated all-glass dining room over Florida Bay, air-conditioned on hot days and opened up on cooler ones, serving what the kitchen calls Keyribbean cooking: Certified Angus Beef and local seafood under Caribbean flavours. Start with Bahamian conch chowder, conch fritter bites, Havana fries of yuca and pulled pork, or Jamaican peel-and-eat shrimp. Mains run to seafood enchiladas, Caribbean rum barbecue ribs, island pasta with scallops and shrimp, mahi tacos and an eight-ounce lobster tail. Key lime pie is deep-dish, homemade and worth the room. The Sunset Bar below plays live music nightly; champagne is half price upstairs before six.
