BEACHCOMBER BEACH RESORT HOTEL JIMMY B'S – Restaurant

Sand underfoot, a Gulf sunset ahead and a band tuning up: Jimmy B's runs open-air off the wooden deck of the Beachcomber Beach Resort on St Pete Beach. Multiple bars, a patio and two stages keep music going daily, one facing the water, one indoors for the late set. The kitchen sends out local fish spread with pita, capers and cucumbers, coconut shrimp, Bavarian pretzel stix, cilantro-lime shrimp tacos and a brisket-and-short-rib burger. Frozen Bushwackers do steady business. Food runs until ten, late-night bites until midnight Thursday through Saturday, and the bar keeps going well past. Beach bar, properly done.
