Blue Ginger sits on Sheridan Street in Southwest Ranches and runs a long sushi list without much fuss. Signature rolls talk loudest here: the Blue Ginger roll of spicy tuna, steamed shrimp, cream cheese and avocado in a soy wrap; the Red Dragon; Miami Heat with jalapenos; Ocean Drive with tuna, yellowtail, cilantro, lime and chili oil; Coco Shrimp under coconut shrimp. Hot starters cover agedashi tofu, gyoza, krab rangoons, galbee short ribs and honey garlic wings. Noodles run yaki udon and pad thai, while katsu, tempura and teriyaki entrees hold the kitchen side. It opens mid-afternoon and runs late.
