BLUE MARLIN AMI – Restaurant

A restored 1920s beach cottage on historic Bridge Street, a block from the Gulf, where the fish comes off local boats and the courtyard out back, known as the Trap Yard, fills with live music at weekends. The kitchen sends out shrimp eggrolls and Thai snapper nugz to start, then pecan-crusted grouper, shrimp and grits, blackened fish alfredo and a lobster grilled cheese; bourbon pecan pie and tropical bread pudding close things down. Vegetarian and vegan plates sit on the card too. Dinner only, Monday through Saturday. Reservations are essential Friday and Saturday and sensible the rest of the week.
