BLVD CAFE – Restaurant

BLVD Cafe works the Rosemary District end of Sarasota's Boulevard of the Arts, open early and finished by two, dark on Tuesdays. Chef-owner Mica England spent two decades as a private chef and house manager in New York before opening it, and the Parisian-leaning menu shows that training: poached oeuf cocotte, a proper croque monsieur, cinnamon-crusted French toast under fresh berries, a Maine lobster omelette with house-made potatoes. Real Brooklyn bagels arrive daily. Pastries, coffee, sandwiches and vegan plates fill out the board. Guests consistently mention generous portions and attentive service. Prices sit above average; the plates keep earning it.
