Midtown's kosher slice window sits at 378 Fifth Avenue, a block north of the Empire State Building, and it keeps the trays moving from late morning onward. Round and Sicilian both: cheese, fresh mozzarella, marinara, grandma, plus heavier slices layered with penne alla vodka, baked ziti or mac and cheese, and a cauliflower crust for the carb-wary. Caesar and Greek salads travel well; garlic knots and mozzarella sticks rarely survive the walk back to the office. Pasta and calzones fill out a fuller order. On Fridays it shuts at two. Saturday night, long after dark, the ovens fire up again.
