Doors open at five in the morning on Beal Parkway, weekdays only, and close at two. The omelette board is the reason to come, and it escalates: a two-egg ham and American, a three-egg Super Cheeky built on four cheeses, a seafood one with shrimp, then the four-egg heavyweights - the Popeye, the King Kong with New York strip and three meats, and the Godzilla of grilled chicken, shrimp and spinach. Around them sit country fried steak, corned beef hash, pork chops, hot cakes, potato cakes and Philly cheesesteak subs. Regulars keep mentioning the big portions and the brisk service.
