Hot beignets pulled from the fryer to order and buried in powdered sugar, with chicory coffee alongside — that is the whole idea here. Fort Walton Beach has two Beignets & Brew cafes: one on Eglin Parkway with a drive-thru, one trading inside the Walmart on Beal Parkway. Traditional beignets come in fours, dozens or twenty-four-piece bite boxes; specialty versions arrive with Nutella, cinnamon sugar, or turtle caramel and pecans. Savoury side covers chicken and beignets and breakfast croissants. Drinks run chicory drip, cafe au lait, citrus cold brew, frozen Biscoff cookie butter lattes. Doors open early and close late.
