Three floors of vintage toys, model trains, year-round Christmas lights and servers called Bubble Scouts: the Bubble Room has occupied a former family home on Captiva Drive since 1979. Dishes carry old-Hollywood and songbook names. An American in Paris is French onion soup under Gruyere; Carolina Moons is a basket of house potato chips; Bing Crabsby sets crab cakes in lobster cream; Napoleon Bonapart shaves prime rib onto a hoagie. Bubble Bread comes to every table and the Orange Crunch Cake leaves with most guests. Lunch and dinner daily, with Boop's ice cream parlor next door. Nostalgia, but seriously executed.
