CAFE CROISSANT – Restaurant

A small French bakery-cafe on Coral Way, run by twin brothers from France who bake through the early hours and open the doors at seven. The counter is really the whole point: baker's peels stacked with croissants, almond and pistachio among them, pain au chocolat, apple tarts and fresh bread that sells out before the afternoon. Breakfast runs all day, with omelettes and crepes cooked to order, Nutella and banana among the sweet fillings, and a brie, mushroom and spinach sandwich on the savoury side. Doors close again at two. Turn up early, or the croissants will already have gone.
