CAFE FARAY – Restaurant

Near Miami International, Café Faray puts Cuban home cooking, a bar, billiard tables and a game room under one roof, then books singing and dancing shows every Friday from seven until eleven. Mornings open with the Desayuno Faray — two eggs, ham, bacon or sausage, potatoes, toast and café con leche — or bistec a caballo with fries. Later the kitchen sends out riñonada, carne con papa, costilla frita, pollo asado, chuleta ahumada and T-bone steak, each with rice, tostones, maduros or yuca con mojo. Croquetas of chicken, ham or fish, chicharrones, camarones al ajillo or enchilado, a seafood paella.
