CAFE SONIA – Restaurant

Sonia ran a flower shop at 21100 South Dixie Highway for roughly twenty years before turning the address into a Cuban cafe and cafeteria trading under her own first name. The cafe sits by the Marathon station at the Southwest 117th Avenue junction, across from Walmart, and trades from early morning into the afternoon. She leads with a deliberately cheap breakfast special, then sandwiches, wings, roast pork, rice and beans, and fries, all alongside proper Cuban coffee. The ordering menu adds a steak sandwich, a tilapia sandwich, a mahi-mahi platter, breaded chicken tenders, and a half pastrami sandwich with soup.
