Cafoteria – Restaurant

A kosher dairy eatery on America Avenue in Lakewood built around a wood-fired oven, where you order at the counter and the food comes to your table. The twelve-inch pies run from a plain classic and a margherita to truffle mushroom, blanca and garlic, and a French onion topped with slow-roasted onion, sweet potato and pesto. Pastas are the other half of the menu: penne alla vodka, three-cheese mac, baked ziti, ricotta and mushroom ravioli, zucchini zoodles. Lighter appetites get avocado toast with everything spice, a grilled cheese melt, tuna sandwiches. Cinnamon-tossed doughnuts finish. Closed Fridays, open again after Shabbat.
