CALDER CASINO – Restaurant

Churchill Downs runs this Miami Gardens casino, and its three food outlets keep hours most restaurants would envy. Lucky's opens at ten in the morning and serves until half past two overnight, later at weekends, trading in burgers, pizza and wings. Center Bar, planted mid floor beneath more than a dozen televisions, pairs domestic and imported beer with wings and oversized sandwiches. The Kitchen, the sit-down room, opens Thursday to Sunday evenings for flatbreads, pasta, salads and seafood, no reservation needed. Entry is restricted to guests twenty-one and older. Come hungry, and then stay on for the late night shift.
