CHEF REECE KITCHEN – Restaurant

Chef Reece Kitchen moved along South University Drive in Davie and kept doing what it does: Caribbean cooking plated for a takeaway crowd. Salads start with romaine, cheddar, cherry tomato, cucumber and shallot, then take jerk grilled chicken, sauteed shrimp or honey-garlic salmon on top. Entrees run to oxtail, jerk chicken, fried chicken, red snapper fillet and coconut curry chickpeas, each with two sides. Wings arrive in six, ten or twenty pieces, with cajun fries alongside. The house signature is penne in a creamy rasta sauce. Catering is offered, and a small online shop sells the kitchen's own house seasoning.
