CHEN'S CHINESE FOOD T/O – Restaurant

Counter-service Chinese on NW 7th Avenue, north Miami, closed Sundays and open otherwise from eleven until nine, half an hour later on Friday and Saturday. The board is broad and cheap: chow mein, chop suey, lo mein and egg foo young each in six versions, curry chicken, beef or shrimp, broccoli dishes by the pint or quart, pepper steak with onions, szechuan beef, shrimp with lobster sauce. Dinner combinations pair honey chicken with fried shrimp. Whole fried snapper and fried plantains nod to the neighbourhood. Fried rice is sold by the pint, quart or bucket. A ten-dollar card minimum applies.
