CHINA HOUSE – Restaurant
Out in Marion Oaks, south of Ocala proper, China House keeps things deliberately simple: pickup only, no delivery, closed Mondays, and online ordering that shuts thirty minutes before the kitchen does. The combination platters carry the menu, three dozen of them at one price with roast pork fried rice and an egg roll, from Mongolian chicken and orange chicken to shrimp with lobster sauce and barbecue spare ribs. The appetizer list includes a cheese steak egg roll, fried plantains, beef teriyaki and a pu pu platter for two. Soups run to roast pork yat gaw mein and a seafood bowl.
