The Southbank got a grown-up dining room when City Grille & Raw Bar took the old Wine Cellar space on Prudential Drive, opened by the team behind Eleven South. The raw bar pulls oysters from both coasts alongside ceviche, tartare and crudo. From the kitchen: Spanish octopus, jumbo lump crab cakes, steak tartare served on a bone marrow canoe, Cape Cod diver scallops, local black grouper, frutti di mare, dry-aged strip. Three rooms, Velvet, Tuscan and Garden, let one address feel like several. The globe-spanning wine list is very much the point. Seasonal, a touch sultry, unmistakably a city night.
