Coral Reef Park Company, Inc. has run the concession inside John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park at 102601 Overseas Highway in Key Largo since 1963, under owners Randy and Mary Pegram, who also hold Bahia Honda State Park's concession. Alongside the park's dive shop, gift shop and gear rentals, the company runs the Blue Heron Cafe, serving food and drinks to park visitors on-site. Florida inspection records describe a working kitchen with a steam table, reach-in coolers and an ice cream cooler. It is a park concession, but the public can pay admission and sit down for a meal there.
