Corkscrew Deli – Restaurant

Sandwich construction specialists, says the sign at The Landings Plaza on South Tamiami Trail, and Corkscrew Deli has held that line since 1994. The board is built around a daily special: the Bounty on Monday, the Smokey on Tuesday, the Paisano midweek, a pressed Cuban on Saturday. Signature sandwiches run the Rustler with roast beef and garlic spread, the El Paso in jalapeno ranch, the Golden Turkey with curry dressing, plus a Reuben, a Rachael and a hot pastrami Caribbean on an onion roll. Vegetarians get the Harvest and a Greek pita. Dine in or take out, Monday to Saturday.
