DA CAVE – Restaurant

An open-format lounge on NW 7th Avenue in North Miami that runs from weekend brunch straight through to the small hours, with hookah, DJs and a kitchen that never coasts. The cooking leans Haitian and Creole: griot with fried plantains, escovitch fish, a snapper platter, rice and beans, mac and cheese. Brunch is its own event, red velvet waffles under fried chicken, Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch pancakes, peaches and cream French toast, shrimp and grits, catfish and grits, steak and eggs. Wings come traditional or boneless, beside oxtail empanadas, spicy rasta pasta, hibachi fried rice and bang shrimp.
