Daily Provisions - Upper West Side – restaurant

The Amsterdam Avenue outpost of the all-day counter born in the kitchen of Danny Meyer's Union Square Cafe, sitting on the corner of West 78th Street a few blocks from the Natural History Museum. Mornings are crullers, cinnamon, maple and raspberry hibiscus, plus egg sandwiches: the Lumberjack tucks bacon, egg and cheese inside a maple cruller, the Goldilox layers smoked salmon on an everything croissant. Afterwards come whole and half roast Amish chicken, chicken milanese, a patty melt on griddled rye, kale Caesar and salmon nicoise. Joe Coffee works the espresso bar. Open daily, from seven until nine, without ceremony.
