DELRAY BEACH GOLF CLUB – Restaurant
The clubhouse restaurant at Delray Beach Golf Club is open to the general public, not only to golfers, and it serves lunch daily out on Highland Avenue. The cooking is honest halfway-house fare: chicken wings, chicken tenders, beef empanadas, mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers to start, then an Angus beef burger, Philly cheesesteak, fried cod sandwich, three sliders or a Hebrew National hot dog with chili and cheese. Homemade chili and New England clam chowder come by cup or bowl. Saturdays add an outside grill from eleven until four, and happy hour runs weekday afternoons. Banana pudding closes it out.
