Cuban cooking on Forest Hill Boulevard in Wellington, from a family operation trading in Palm Beach County since 1990 and named best Cuban and Latin food in town by the Palm Beach Post. Start with homemade ham croquettes, tostones rellenos stuffed with ropa vieja, chicharrones de pollo or plantain chips. Mains hold to the canon: lechon asado, ropa vieja, palomilla steak, masa de cerdo in mojo, camarones al ajillo, snapper filet. Weekday lunch specials run from eleven until four. Flan, tres leches and rice pudding close things out, cortadito alongside. Casual, colorful and unpretentious, it remains the neighborhood's Cuban table.
