A Peruvian counter serving Wellington and the villages around it, working the same fire-roasted chicken that made La Granja a Florida fixture. The bird comes by the quarter, half or whole with rice, beans and maduros; beyond it sit churrasco, half-pound and pound grilled steak, beef sauteed with shrimp, spicy and garlic fish, jalea, ceviche and seafood chaufa. Sides mean tostones, fried yuca and garlic potatoes. Regulars talk about how much food arrives and how quickly it does. Not a special-occasion room, and it does not need to be.
