Davidovich Shawarma carves in the Korazin centre on Tfutzot Yisrael Street in Givatayim, and the portions have become the whole conversation. Veal or turkey off the spit, packed into pita, laffa or a baguette or piled on a plate, with chicken skewers, schnitzel, kebab and falafel alongside. Every order arrives with chips and access to the salad bar at no extra charge, which is the house signature. Diners report leaving comfortably over-fed, and a food critic writing on it made the same point while flinching at the bill. Kosher, generous, and not shy about it.
