EL BAGEL – Restaurant

What started as a Downtown Miami food truck in 2017 is now El Bagel, running two Miami storefronts, one in MiMo and one in Coconut Grove, both open daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. except Tuesdays. The dough uses five ingredients, cold-fermented with a sourdough starter and boiled before baking, which gives the bagels their blistered crust and a chewy crumb. Plain, poppy, sesame and everything appear daily, with flavors like onion, garlic and jalapeno-cheddar rotating through. The sandwich list runs from a simple bagel and cream cheese to the AVO SPESH, a lox platter and a King Guava.
