Four Corners – Restaurant

Four Corners is a kosher bagel-and-cafe fixture in Lakewood, with counters around town turning out bagels by the baker's dozen: poppy, sesame, garlic, everything. Breakfast means omelettes served with a buttered bagel, pancakes, French toast, lox and eggs. Later the case fills with tuna melts, paninis, personal pies, baked ziti and penne vodka, plus potato kugel, knishes, burekas and cheese blintzes. Spreads and salads are sold by the pound for the table at home. The room is heimish and busy, the counter fast, the crowd loyal. Come for the bagel; leave carrying lunch.
