FRAMMI – Restaurant
A small Italian-American kitchen on Bruce B Downs Boulevard in New Tampa, run hands-on by a husband-and-wife team who took the space over and made it theirs. The Italian side is the heart of it — fried meatballs from a family recipe, arancini, lasagna, pasta carbonara, grilled zucchini — while the American side turns out burgers cooked to order, the black and blue and the ghost burger among them, with regular or sweet potato fries. Portions are generous and the welcome is personal. Neighbourhood cooking, served with an accent.
