Jem's makes its own beer, and the Caesarea pub on HaRakia Street exists to pour it. The kitchen backs the taps with pub cooking done with some care: house-made sausages, burgers, a run of fried things, and salads and lighter plates for anyone not committed to the full programme. Vegetarian and vegan options sit on the same menu, there is a full bar, and the room is kosher — an unusual combination for a brewery pub. Beer first, and the food knows it.
