Giraffe's Ness Ziona room sits on the second floor of the commercial centre on Haim Bar-Lev, with a large terrace and a view that earns the climb. The chain's cooking pulls from Asia and America and lands somewhere squarely Israeli: sushi from the counter, gyoza, calamari, noodles and wok plates, plus the newer sushi-and-cocktail list rolled out across the group. The design is modern Asian, low-lit and unfussy. Diners tend to mention the speed and warmth of the floor as often as the food. Busy, and comfortable with it.
