Next door to Heavenly Chocolate Creations on Lenox Avenue, Heavenly Cafe is a daytime kitchen that makes its food in house and keeps the freezer out of it. Burgers are fresh, never frozen, the chicken salad is mixed on site, and the week runs on specials: taco salad on Tuesday, burgers on Wednesday, Italian on Thursday, hot breakfast from eight on Friday. Sandwiches, salads and breakfast sandwiches fill the rest of the board, with charcuterie and lunch catering for offices. Doors close at five, and all day Sunday and Monday. Come at lunch or not at all.
