The Coffee Gallery on Chelnov Street is a working roastery with an espresso bar attached, which is the right way round. Beans from across the world are roasted and sold on the shelf, including two house blends - one an Ethiopian arabica cut with robusta, built to stay soft rather than sour, the other a full arabica with more bite, aimed at espresso and Turkish coffee. Sandwiches and pastries are made on site for anyone staying. Workshops and tastings run alongside. Regulars call it a neighbourhood place, and mean it as praise.
