HOAGIE HUT – Restaurant

Across from Miami Dade College's North campus, Hoagie Hut has been making sandwiches since 1978 — family owned the whole way, doors open at six in the morning on weekdays. The cheesesteak is the headliner and the reason most first-timers walk in. Beyond it: grilled chicken subs, pressed sandwiches, a Cuban, the combo salad, Mojo and Tico Pico bowls, and smoothies blended to order. It is a counter operation, quick and unfussy, built around students, staff and neighbours who have ordered the same thing for years. Nearly half a century of subs, and still no reason to change.
